Can Chrome Effects be sprayed over existing chrome?
Yes we can completely restore worn, damaged and pitted chrome to new.

Is there anything that Chrome Effects can’t be sprayed on?
Not much, most substrates solid or flexible can be sprayed. Very porous material like leather or cloth can have problems.

Can you spray onto wood, bone, shells or items with a grain or finish I want to preserve?
Yes, the underlying item is enhanced and brought to life with Chrome Effects.

Can you chrome engine blocks and exhausts?
No, we can’t spray parts that get extremely hot i.e. above 200 degrees. Any parts or brackets that hold the engine or exhausts are fine.

How hard / durable is your Chrome Effect?
Very, we finish the process with a very hard and durable clear-coat which is the same as the finish on vehicle body paint or most alloy wheels.

How long does the process take?
Typically we need the parts or item for a week, urgent parts can be returned in two days if necessary.

What reflective colours can I have?
Gold, Copper, Silver, Chrome, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Black, Purple or any variations of these colours to create your own custom colour.
